Ministry Topics

Do You Really Love Me, Lord?
“The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread.” –Mother Teresa
God is my heavenly Father. I am his child. Just as the love of a father is a primary need for a child, the love of a heavenly Father is a primary need for a child of God. Love is not simply the scrumptious dessert of the Christian experience—something the well-disciplined may choose to skip to avoid the calories. Love is the main course. Knowing God’s love is the foundation to a healthy spiritual life. I need my Father’s love.

How to Grow a Soul
Running on empty? Learn to switch focus from “what I do” to “who I am.” Jesus came to give us life—abundantly. Our lives are abundantly busy. But, they often lack the love, joy, and peace that characterize an abundant life in Christ. I'll show you where to find them as we learn to connect deeply with our God.

Dare to Dream with God
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” –C.S. Lewis.
Who did God create me to be? How can I fulfill God’s specific purposes for my life? Dreams are linked to God-given passions. Dreaming with God has a cost. But, refusing to dream with God has a higher cost. Dreaming with God is not about us doing great things. It’s about God doing great things!

Woman of Influence
Women were created by God to have enormous influence in our world. We're often unaware of the extent of this influence. Learn to recognize our influence and use it for God and good.

The Good and Beautiful God
“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”
–A.W. Tozer
What image comes to mind when you think about God? Together, we'll examine our image of God (God narrative), how we practice our faith (spiritual disciplines), and whom we interact with (social context) to discover the life Jesus lived. Let's grow in the knowledge of our good and beautiful God.

Designer Living
Who am I as a woman? Our identity as women has changed drastically in the last half-century. God’s Word speaks on the issue of gender. Learn to apply his truth in the 21st century and fully embrace our true womanhood!

Discovering Gold in Gray
“It takes courage to grow old,” an elderly friend once said. It also takes courage to stand beside our loved ones as they grow old and frail. At some point, many of us will even step into the role of caregiver. It can be a gray time of discouragement, grief, and loss. No surprise there. God did, however, surprise me with golden blessings, poignant lessons, and everyday joys along the way. Find fresh encouragement and inspiration for your caregiving journey.
